
MGolf Named GCAA All-Academic Team

NORMAN, OKLA. - The Seton Hall men's golf team was named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team for having a collective grade point average of above 3.0 during the 2013-14 academic year.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college of university must submit the grade point averages for each player on its official squad list for the academic year.
The Pirates were one of 81 Division I programs to be recognized as an All-Academic Team. DePaul, Marquette, St. John's and Villanova are the only other BIG EAST programs among the prestigious group. The Blue Demons were named GCAA Division I National Champions for having the highest team grade point average.
Seton Hall will return to the links on August 31 for the first of three rounds of golf at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate in Verona, N.Y.
