Noelle Picone enters her second season at Seton Hall following a one-year stint as an assistant coach at her alma mater Fairleigh Dickinson, where she helped lead the Knights to two NEC regular season championships as a collegian.
In 2021 with Picone on the bench, FDU went 10-6-4 and advanced to the finals of the NEC Tournament. She also helped two Knights land on the All-NEC First Team and two more on the All-NEC Second Team.
Prior to her return to FDU, Picone spent over five years with The College of New Jersey as the program saw an incredibly successful stretch of play, going 70-5-6 with four NCAA Tournament appearances during her time as an assistant coach. Picone helped guide the Lions to three consecutive NJAC championships from 2017-19 and the Division III Final Four in 2017 while also mentoring nine All-Americans in her time on staff.
Picone brings with her a wealth of knowledge as not just a successful coach, but as a player at both the collegiate and post-collegiate level. Picone spent time with the NJ Wildcats W-League and WPSL semi-professional teams following her time at FDU. While at FDU, Picone was a part of two NEC Regular Season Champions, including the 2015 side that won both the regular season and NEC Tournament crown, en route to an NCAA Tournament berth. As an individual, Picone was a two-time All-NEC Second Team honoree, as she made 77 appearances over her career. She graduated from FDU with degrees in biology and psychology and she holds a Master’s degree in counseling.
