Ian Lagowitz joined head coach Clay White on the staff of the Seton Hall men's golf team prior to the start of the 2014-15 year. Before the 2019-20 year, he was promoted to Associate Head Coach.
A keen golf mind and dedicated administrator, Lagowitz has been a member of nearby Essex County Country Club since 1999 and is the former Chair of its Junior Golf program.
In the five years since Lagowitz has been with Seton Hall, the Pirates have finished fourth or better in the nine-team BIG EAST Conference Championship four times.
Ian's son Alex was a college golfer at Colgate University before his passing in 2016. Seton Hall has proudly participated in the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Golf Tournament to begin its fall season the last two years.
