Anna Pitingolo joined the Seton Hall Athletics Staff as the Associate Athletics Director for Marketing in October 2024.
Pitingolo comes to the Hall after spending four years at Princeton University as the Assistant Director for Marketing & Community Relations. At Princeton, she created and implemented marketing and promotional strategies for the Tigers’ 38 varsity sports, with a primary focus on fan engagement and in-venue experience for women’s basketball, wrestling and men’s and women’s lacrosse. For these sports, Pitingolo oversaw the marketing and advertising plans, game day execution and served as the in-venue producer. Under her leadership, women’s basketball saw a steady increase in attendance and the program had their highest average attendance in over 20 years in 2023-24. In 2023, she served as the Marketing Director for the Ivy Madness Basketball Tournament. In this role, she worked closely with the Ivy League office to create and execute the pre-tournament advertising strategy and served as the primary producer for the in-venue show throughout the tournament.
Prior to arriving at Princeton, Pitingolo spent four years at Saint Peter’s University, starting as the Marketing & Communications Assistant before being elevated to the Marketing Coordinator. During Pitingolo’s tenure, both the men’s and women’s basketball programs enjoyed a spike in attendance and revenue with revamped promotions schedules and the introduction of the department’s first-ever season ticket program.
Before her time at Saint Peter’s, Pitingolo served as the media relations intern for Little League International in preparation for and throughout the 2017 Little League World Series. Pitingolo's experience in athletics began while she was a student at Penn State, working in the Penn State Athletics Digital Communications Office. At the start of her senior year, Pitingolo traveled to Rio de Janeiro to cover the 2016 Paralympic Games for the Associated Press with the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism.
Originally from Berkeley Heights, NJ, Pitingolo earned her degree in broadcast journalism, with a focus on sports communications, from the Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State in 2017. She currently resides in Jersey City.
