Pirates Win at Nos. 1 and 2 Singles in Team Loss at Quinnipiac

"We fought hard in singles tonight and each match came down to the wire," said Seton Hall head coach James Enzler. "We have to figure out doubles though. That's going to be our big focus over the next two weeks. The amount of times that we are going into singles down 0-1 because we can't secure the doubles point is inexcusable. I hope to use these upcoming practices wisely to find a combination that works for us."
Farrakhova and Davidson each notched their team-leading 15th singles win of the year. Farrakhova topped Willow Renton at No. 1, 6-4, 2-6, 1-0(4). Davidson was a winner over Caitlin Flower at No. 2, 6-2, 1-6, 1-0(6).
The Pirates had a chance to win as three other singles matches went to a third set but they all went the Bobcats' way.
Seton Hall will return to action March 27-28 when it hosts Georgetown and Hofstra at Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness in New Providence, N.J.
