South Orange, N.J. – Fans will get their first look at the 2026-27 Seton Hall men's basketball team on Saturday night as the Pirates head to Monmouth for an exhibition clash. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. at Dr. Marilyn A. McNeil Arena at Monmouth University.
The contest is being presented as a special co-sponsored fundraising event for the universities, benefiting both Monmouth and Seton Hall. Saturday's game will not be televised. Seton Hall's student radio station, 89.5 FM WSOU, will broadcast the exhibition over its airwaves. Local fans can tune to 89.5 FM as well as tune in using the iHeartRadio app.
"We're very excited to work with our friends at Monmouth to put this co-sponsored event for our fans," said Seton Hall Director of Athletics Bryan Felt. "In this day and age of college athletics, finding additional fundraising and revenue opportunities have become crucial. This exhibition will not only aid the growth of our men's basketball program but will also be a unique experience for our fans, many of whom call Monmouth County and the Jersey Shore home."
Fans headed to the game are encouraged to join us at our pregame event at 4 p.m. at Baseline Social in Oceanport, N.J., the new official Jersey Shore Sports Bar of the Seton Hall Pirates. Admission to this event is complimentary with a valid game ticket. The event will have hors d'oeuvres and each guest will receive one drink ticket followed by a cash bar.
