Tempe, Ariz. - Seton Hall tennis continues to shine in the classroom, as the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) named the program to its Div. I Women's All-Academic Team and named nine Pirates as Scholar-Athletes, the organization recently announced. Named Scholar-Athletes were seniors Aili Hietala, Hili Kronzon, Arabella Moen and Paige Wise, sophomores Imogen Brooker, Niamh Campbell and Anastasia Sereda and freshmen Rachel Benoualid and Ellie Coe.
In order to be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, tennis student-athletes must have a 3.5 GPA or higher during the academic year. For the program to be named to the All-Academic Team, the entire team must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
This is the 12th year in a row that the program has been named to the ITA's All-Academic team. Kronzon and Moen are now four-time recipients of the scholar-athlete honor and Hietala has notched it in both of her years as a Pirate. Brooker, Campbell and Sereda are also repeat selections after also earning the recognition as freshmen.
Brooker, Campbell, Sereda and Wise were also previously honored this past year for their academic prowess with CSC Academic All-District recognition.
As a program, tennis finished 2024-25 with the highest cumulative GPA in the athletics department at 3.793. The team posted a 3.748 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year.
