Seton Hall will return to action this weekend for a pair of BIG EAST Conference road contests. On Friday, The Hall will travel to Chicago for an 8:00 p.m. match at DePaul. On Sunday, the Pirates will head to Cincinnati for a 1:00 p.m. match at Xavier.

LAST TIME AGAINST DE PAUL
Graduate student Laila Wallace (Munster, Ind.) and sophomore Senna Roberts-Navarro (Honolulu, Hawaii) combined for 18 kills and only three errors, but the Pirates fell to DePaul, 3-1 (20-25, 15-25, 25-18, 19-25), in Walsh Gym on Oct. 13. The Hall rallied with one of its best single sets of the season in set three, but it couldn't continue the momentum in set four.Â

Roberts-Navarro had nine kills, only one attack error and a .381 attack percentage, while Wallace notched nine kills, only two attack errors and a .318 attack percentage.  Senior Maddie Klungel (Napa, Calif.) had a match-high 32 assists to go with eight digs and two kills. Junior Hadlee Ackerman (Atlanta, Ga.) collected a career-high 20 digs to lead the Pirates. SCOUTING DE PAUL
DePaul enters Friday's contest with a 15-7 record overall and a 7-3 mark in BIG EAST play. The Blue Demons currently occupy third place in the conference standings and are coming off a pair of victories at home last weekend. DePaul swept Providence on Friday before handling Connecticut in four sets on Sunday.Â

Jill Pressly continues to lead the BIG EAST with 4.24 kills per set, while Rachel Krasowski leads the conference with 4.70 digs per set.

LAST TIME AGAINST XAVIER
Maddie Klungel missed a triple-double by only one kill in a career-best effort, but the Pirates were edged by Xavier, 3-2 (25-14, 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 10-15), in Walsh Gym on Oct. 11.   Klungel had 48 assists, a career-high 19 digs and nine kills, finishing one kill shy of Seton Hall's first triple-double since the 2014 season.

The Hall trounced Xavier, 25-14, in the opening set, but fell in sets two and three. The Pirates rallied for a fourth-set victory, but was outlasted in set five. Seton Hall lost despite collecting more kills, digs, blocks and having a higher attack percentage for the match.

Graduate student Perri Lucas (Chicago, Ill.) had a team-high 16 kills to go with five digs and three blocks. Laila Wallace had her best performance of the season, finishing with season-highs of 12 kills and a team-best six blocks.

SCOUTING XAVIER
Xavier enters the weekend with an 8-12 record overall, but a 6-4 mark in BIG EAST play. The Musketeers are currently tied for fourth place in the conference with Connecticut and Villanova. Xavier also picked up a pair of victories last weekend, edging Connecticut in five sets on Friday before sweeping Providence on Sunday.

Xavier's Margo Kemp currently ranks second in the BIG EAST with a .384 attack percentage, while Logan Flaugh is second with 10.49 assists per set.

Next week, The Hall will return to the friendly confines of Walsh Gymnasium when it hosts a pair of BIG EAST Conference matches. On Friday, Nov. 8, Seton Hall will welcome Connecticut to South Orange. The next day, the Pirates will host Providence. Both contests will start at 5:00 p.m.

- On Oct. 5 at UConn, Perri Lucas became only the 12th player in Seton Hall history to reach the milestone of 1,000 kills for her career. At Butler on Oct. 18, she broke into Seton Hall's career top-10.
- Against Butler on Oct. 18, Maddie Klungel collected her 2,000th career assist.
- Seton Hall currently ranks third in the BIG EAST with 15.60 digs per set. Rylee Nelson is currently second among individuals in the BIG EAST with 4.27 digs per set.
- Asli Subasili is currently tied for fourth in the BIG EAST with 0.41 aces per set.
- The Hall closed out the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 6-5 record.
- Reagan Merk and Maddie Klungel have collected a team-high seven double-doubles this season.
