
Four Pirates Victorious in Seton Hall's 5-2 Team Win over Hofstra

Kempinski, who recently moved up to No. 1 singles, won at the position for the first time, defeating Jimena Garbino, 6-3, 7-5. Kempinski continues to have an incredible spring season; she is now 10-3 in spring singles and 17-7 in overall singles.
El Khalifi was sharp at No. 4 singles and defeated Ananyaa Bhargava, 6-2, 6-2. Moen was the same at No. 5 against Kaitlyn Ferguson, winning 6-3, 6-4.
O'Donovan had her most well-rounded match of the season, knocking off Sabira Mohamed at No. 6 singles, 7-6(6), 6-2.
In the doubles portion of the evening, the Pirates fell behind, but rebounded when Kempinski and Moen defeated Garbino and Ferguson to clinch.
The Pirates are back in action Saturday night in a BIG EAST clash with Providence at Murray Hill Tennis & Fitness. Doubles will commence at 5:45 p.m.
