
Kempinski Continues Hot Streak in The Hall's Match at FDU

Teaneck, N.J. - Freshman Oliwia Kempinski continued her hot start to her collegiate career with a win at No. 3 singles, but the short-handed Seton Hall women's tennis team came up short at Fairleigh Dickinson in a 5-2 loss Tuesday at FDU Tennis Courts.
Kempinski defeated Smriti Singh in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, to earn her sixth singles victory in seven tries to start her collegiate career. She's also now won four matches in a row.
Sophomore Arina Gumerova also picked up a singles victory, cruising past Aleksandra Vorozheikina at No. 1 in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2. She's now won three of her last four matches. She also teamed with senior Minja Gligic to pick up a win at No. 1 doubles.
The Pirates were only able to field three singles players on the day.
Seton Hall will host two matches this weekend, beginning Saturday vs. Binghamton on Senior Day.
