
Busetto, Pirates Move Up on Final Day at Delaware Invite

Busetto ties for 12th overall and the Pirates moved up to a ninth place finish on Sunday.
REHOBOTH BEACH, DEL. – Junior Ludovica Busetto (Padova, Italy) again had the top Pirate round, shooting a 2-over-par, 74, on Sunday to lift the Seton Hall women's golf team to a ninth-place finish at the Delaware Lady Blue Hen Invitational.

Busetto had two birdies and 13 pars in route to a 2-over-par score in the final round. For the tournament, she narrowly missed her first career top-10 finish, tying for 12th among 72 individual golfers with a 10-over-par, 75-77-74-226. Busetto finished just five strokes behind the individual champion, Princeton's Tiffany Kong.

As a team, the Pirates moved up one spot on the final day to finish ninth after a third-round 22-over-par, 310. For the tournament, The Hall was 63-over-par with a 312-305-310-927. Princeton won the team title at 27-over-par. BIG EAST opponents Georgetown and St. John's finished at 54-over-par, and 60-over-par respectively.

Senior Sarah Fouratt (Santa Maria, Calif.) closed out her tournament with a 6-over-par, 78, on Sunday. For the two-day event, she tied for 28th place with an 18-over-par, 80-76-78-234.

Freshman Ana Sarrias Pro (Cadiz, Spain) had an 11-over-par, 83, on Sunday. She finished the tournament in a tie for 37th place with a 20-over-par, 78-75-83-236. Only one stroke behind, Ginevra Ricciardelli (Rome, Italy) turned in her best round of the tournament with a 6-over-par, 78. She closed out the event with a 21-over-par, 79-80-78-237.

Graduate student Margot Bechadergue (Aix-En-Provence, France) had an 8-over-par, 80, in round three. She finished the tournament with a 22-over-par, 81-77-80-238.

Competing as an individual, sophomore Sasha Amelang (Houston, Texas) finished the tournament with a 48-over-par, 84-90-90-264.
