WEST ORANGE, N.J. – Freshman Harpa Johannsdottir (Akureyri, Iceland) made four saves as the Seton Hall women' soccer team played a strong Central Connecticut State team to a scoreless draw on Sunday.

The contest was a tale of two halves with Seton Hall dominating possession in the first half and out-shooting the Blue Devils, 9-to-4. In the second half however, Central Connecticut State upped its offensive pressure and out-shot The Hall, 7-to-2.

Pressure was evenly applied by both sides as the match turned to its overtime periods. In the first overtime, The Hall had its opportunities with both Alyssa Reszkowski (Freehold, N.J.) and Laura Hooper (Watford, England) getting shots on goal in the 90^th and 96^th respectively. Both shots were saved by CCSU goalkeeper Amanda McQuillan.

In the second overtime, it was Central Connecticut State getting two shots on goal with Johannsdottir making a pair of saves.

Inside the Numbers:

Seton Hall out-shot CCSU, 17-to-15, and put more shots on goal, 5-to-4.
Hooper led the Pirates with six shots.
Senior Marissa Aniolowski (Enfield, Conn.) led Seton Hall with three shots on goal.
Both teams had four corner kicks.
Fouls were close with Seton Hall registering 11, compared to 10 for CCSU.
Johannsdottir made four saves.

Seton Hall is now 1-3-1 overall for the season.
Today was Johnnsdottir's second career shutout.
