It's a new month, but it's the same old for the Pirates, who hit the road for the sixth time in their last nine games. This weekend's destination is Indianapolis, where everyone will be experiencing something new.
It's called all-access.
The BIG EAST Conference and Seton Hall has a great partnership with FOX Sports, and innovation and creativity are major parts of this partnership. For only the second time ever, FOX Sports is placing a microphone on both men's basketball head coaches on Saturday and viewers will hear everything Kevin Willard and LaVall Jordan are saying to their teams, assistant coaches and even the referees.
It's access no one else is doing in men's basketball.
So if you're not already planning on visiting the team out at Hinkle Fieldhouse, go get some brunch and then settle in on your couch and FS1 at noon because you're going to hear things you never thought you'd hear on your television.
And if you don't like what you hear during the game, keep it to yourself.
Saturday's contest is on FS1, and while Justin Kutcher and Len Elmore are the broadcasters, we hope you're not tuning in for them. You'll be hearing the real broadcasters Kevin Willard and LaVall Jordan more. If you want to just focus on the game, we recommend listening to Gary Cohen and Dave Popkin call the game on the radio on AM970 The Answer, simulcast on XM 382 and the Pirate Sports Network.

Three Things to Know About Saturday's All-Access Game at Butler
1. Rebound Better Than Butler
The Pirates are not a great rebounding team, but they are 8-1 when they do out-rebound their opponent this season, and Butler is in fact the worst rebounding team in the conference, grabbing only 32.5 per game. The Bulldogs have been slightly better in conference play at 33.7 per game, but overall, this is a matchup that Seton Hall has to take advantage of. Rebound the ball, get second opportunities on offense and limit Butler to one-and-done possessions.
2. Another Battle of the Stars
Another game, another star guard battle for Myles Powell, who has gone up against Shamorie Ponds, Markus Howard, Phil Booth and of course, Kamar Baldwin. This is a matchup of the second and sixth leading scorers in the BIG EAST. In the last meeting, Powell dropped 31 on the Bulldogs while Baldwin finished with 23 points against the Pirates, albeit on 26 shot attempts. Whomever plays better on Saturday will likely be part of the winning team.
3. Remember the Hinkle History
It didn't start out all that well for Seton Hall at Hinkle Fieldhouse, losing the first three times there by an average of 14.7 points, but in the last two seasons, The Hall has pulled out huge road wins at the famed venue, both in comeback fashion. Defense has been critical in those situations; two years ago, the Pirates held Butler to zero rebounds in the final 7:30, and last season, the Pirates held the Bulldogs to five field goals made in the final 10 minutes. We don't advocate falling behind, but the Pirates should always know that they're capable of making a run in this building as long as they play great defense.
