Pirates Head To DePaul On Saturday Afternoon

CHICAGO – The Seton Hall men's soccer team (3-7-1, 1-2-0 BIG EAST) jumps into the late-season BIG EAST conference run this weekend when it travels to DePaul (5-5-2, 0-3-0) on Saturday afternoon. The contest will mark the start of six-straight league games for the Pirates running through the end of the regular season. Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. (ET) at DPU's Wish Field and will be streamed on DePaul BlueTube.
The Pirates are coming off a 3-1 setback to Princeton in their non-conference finale on Wednesday night. Mario Prata (Dracut, Mass.) scored his first career goal for the Pirates in the 3rd minute, heading home a cross from Jonathan Jimenez (Cape Coral, Fla.). DePaul also dropped a midweek match in non-conference play, falling by a score of 2-0 to Loyola Chicago on Tuesday afternoon.
The Pirates are 1-4-1 all-time against DePaul, with the two sides meeting since the 2005 campaign. The Blue Demons sit at the bottom of the BIG EAST standings with an 0-3-0 record while the Pirates check in at seventh, currently one spot outside of the conference tournament, with a 1-2-0 mark in league action.
