BEDMINSTER, N.J. – Freshman Lizzie Win (Sylvania, Ohio) fired a 2-over-par, 74, in the final round of the 2016 Pirate Invitational to lead the Seton Hall women's golf team to a third place finish.
Â
Win shaved a remarkable 16 strokes off her first round score to record the top Pirate round of the tournament. For the two-round event, she finished 20-over-par with a 90-74-164. Win tied for ninth among 77 individual golfers for her third top-10 finish in her first five collegiate tournaments.

Â
Freshman Sammie Staudt (Coatesville, Pa.) finished the two-round event just one stroke behind Fouse. Staudt shaved four strokes off her first round score to finish with a 10-over-par, 82, on Saturday. For the tournament, she totaled a 24-over-par, 86-82-168.
