Pirates Drop Season Finale At Villanova

VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team (5-11-1, 1-8-0 BIG EAST) concluded the regular season with a 2-0 setback at Villanova (4-14-0, 2-7-0) on Friday afternoon at Higgins Soccer Complex. Senior Frankie Maier (Oradell, N.J.) led the Pirates with three shots in the setback.
The Wildcats scored twice in a five-minute span late in the first half to build a two-goal lead, one they would not relent. The two sides combined for 29 shots in the match, with VU keeper Emmalee Meyer notching a five-save clean sheet.
