
WGolf Set for St. John's Event

EAST MEADOW, N.Y. - The Seton Hall women's golf team will return to the links on Monday with the 2012 St. John's Intercollegiate at the Eisenhower White Course in East Meadow, N.Y.
This is the first tournament that St. John's has ever hosted. Joining the Red Storm on the par-72, 6,399-yard white course will be Central Connecticut State, Columbia, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hofstra, Sacred Heart, St. Francis (N.Y.), Towson and two teams from Seton Hall.
The Pirates will send their entire roster of 10 student-athletes to East Meadow.
The 36-hole event will take place over two days, Monday and Tuesday. Seton Hall will tee off with St. John's and Hofstra beginning at 10:57 am on Monday. The Pirates' "B" team will tee off at 11:42.
Seton Hall is coming off a strong showing at the Bucknell Invitational to open the fall season. The Pirates tied for second place among a field of 15 teams, finishing just one stroke behind the team champion, Boston University.
Megan Tenhundfeld (Loveland, Ohio) led the Pirates with a top-10 finish in her first collegiate tournament. The freshman placed eighth among 82 golfers with a 20-over-par, 75-71-84-230.
