ORLANDO, Fla. - The Seton Hall tennis team lost to James Madison, 5-2, on Tuesday afternoon. The Pirates (1-8) will face Sacred Heart later today.
Freshman Pui Wing Sher (Shui Wai, Hong Kong) topped Kinsey Pate in No. 1 singles in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 10-8. Junior Elizabeth Verow (Barnt Green, England) was the only other SHU player that was victorious, topping Katherine Bulling in No. 3 action, 6-3, 7-6 (3).
The Dukes took all three doubles matches to earn that point in the match.
