SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Seton Hall tennis coach Greg Wyzykowski has announced that Madison Shoemaker (Halfmoon Bay, British Columbia) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Pirates next season.
"Madison has solid experience from matches played while attending school in Southern California to her Canadian National tournaments," Wyzykowski said. "Her athletic ability, high energy and her passion for the sport are all solid ingredients she can add to our program next year."
Shoemaker has competed for Team British Columbia 12 consecutive times in the Canadian Nationals. She has won a silver medalist in the B.C. Summer Games, gold in the Western Canada Games, and was a bronze medalist at the Canada Summer Games.
She has also played the No. 1 singles position at Foothill High School in Pleasanton Calif. and won the Nor-Cal doubles championship and the Falcon Award, the schools' top athletic award.
