Tennis Falls to Cincinnati, 4-3

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. The Seton Hall tennis team was topped by Cincinnati, 4-3, on Wednesday. The Pirates split the singles portion of the competition, but dropped all three doubles matches, and are now 5-8 overall and 0-4 in the BIG EAST.

Junior Denise Liebschner (Weinboehla, Germany), sophomore Belfin Sunbul (Izmir, Turkey), and senior Danielle Viola (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) were each victorious in their respective singles matches. Viola had the toughest road to her win, playing a three-set match to Safiyya Ismail in No. 4 singles action.

Seton Hall is back in action on Friday, March 27, at Connecticut.
