Tennis' Liebschner Wins in First Round of ITA Championship

PHILADEPHIA, P.A.  - The ITA Regional Championships continued today with more singles and doubles matches. Seton Hall came up with a win in the first round but fell in the second round.

Junior Denise Liebschner (Weinboehla, Germany) competed against Morgan State yesterday in her first singles match of the tournament. Liebschner won her match against Morgan State, 6-2, 6-0. Liebschner continued play today in her second round match. Liebschner was up against Dartmouth’s sophomore Molly Scott. Liebschner fell to Scott; 6-1, 6-0.

The ITA Regional Championships in Pennsylvania conclude the Pirates fall season. The team will begin their spring season in January with a tournament at Army.
