Albert L. Mamaux

Albert Mamaux served as the head baseball coach at Seton Hall for six years and guided the Pirates to a 69-19 record, including an undefeated season in 1942. As a pro baseball player, he astounded the National League in 1915 as a 21-year-old with the Pittsburgh Pirates, finishing with a 21-8 record and a 2.04 ERA. After his 12-year MLB career concluded, he continued to pitch in the minor leagues, winning 25 games for the Newark Bears in 1927. He was inducted into the International League Hall of Fame in 1951 after winning 132 career games.
