Men's Golf Releases 2026 Fall Schedule

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The 2026 Seton Hall men's golf fall schedule was announced on Thursday. The Pirates will participate in five tournaments this fall.

The Hall will open the fall season for the ninth straight year with the Alex Lagowitz Memorial, hosted by Colgate University at Seven Oaks Golf Club in Hamilton, N.Y., Sept. 5-6. Last fall, the Pirates placed second with a 1-under-par, 292-281-289-863. Rising junior Will Hennessee (Tulsa, Okla.) placed fourth overall and was buoyed by a remarkable 6-under-par, 66, in round two. The three-round event is named in memory of the son of Seton Hall assistant coach Ian Lagowitz. Alex played collegiate golf at Colgate.

The following week, Seton Hall will return to the Redhawk Intercollegiate, hosted by Miami University (Ohio), at Pittsburgh Field Club in Pittsburgh, Ohio, September 14-15. The Pirates last played at this event two years ago and placed ninth with a 14-over-par, 291-288-287-866. None of the current Pirates played in that tournament.

On September 26-27, The Hall will play three rounds of golf at Yale Golf Club for The Macdonald Cup. The Pirates last played at Yale in the fall of 2023 and placed second with a 21-over-par, 288-291-282-861, in the field of 12 teams. The prior year, Seton Hall played the Yale Golf Course as part of the NCAA Regional after winning the 2022 BIG EAST Championship.

Two weeks later, Seton Hall will return to the Nemocolin Collegiate Invitational, hosted by West Virginia University at Mystic Rock Golf Course, October 5-6. Last spring, The Hall tied for third in the field of 19 teams with a staggering 17-under-par, 282-279-286-847, which is the fourth-best par-72, three-round score in program history. Four of Seton Hall's five golfers shot under par for the tournament, led by rising senior Eli Shah (Newtown Square, Pa.), who tied for ninth individually at 5-under-par.

Finally, the Pirates will close out the fall season with three rounds of golf at Trump National Doral in Miami, Fla. for The Bryson Invitational, Oct. 12-14. This will be the fifth time in the last six years that Seton Hall has participated in the event. In the fall of 2021, The Hall won the team title at 6-under-par. Last year, The Hall placed 13th when it was in Daniel Island, S.C.
