Former Seton Hall men's soccer player Kobié Johnson begins his seventh season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Seton Hall University men's soccer program.
Johnson was a four-year starter for the Pirates and was Seton Hall's Freshman Male Athlete of the Year for the 1995-96 academic year.
Johnson returned to his alma mater after spending two years with the Pasco/N.J. Stallions U-15 to U-17 girls and boys teams in Clifton, N.J. where he served as a coach and trainer for the club. He also has coaching and training experience with the World Class Soccer, Inc., where he guided his boys U-17 team to its first ever Jefferson Cup Championship, and helped lead the Parsippany Soccer Club capture the number 12 ranking in the country.
Upon graduating in 1999, Johnson enjoyed a seven-year playing career with Karlsruhe SC and SV Kuppenheim in Germany. He currently resides in Kearny, N.J.
