
Seton Hall Schedule Finalized as BIG EAST Unveils 2026-27 Conference Slate

BIG EAST home opener vs. St. John’s on Dec. 23; Pirates to play five weekend BIG EAST home games at Prudential Center
NEW YORK – Seton Hall men's basketball will open BIG EAST play at Georgetown on Saturday, Dec. 19 as the league announced its full 2026-27 conference slate on Monday. Television assignments and tip times will be announced at a later date.
Season tickets for the 15-game schedule at Prudential Center start at less than $400 a seat, giving fans the best possible value for cheering on the Pirates all season long. Season ticket holders also receive priority access to purchasing tickets to the BIG EAST Tournament and national postseason tournaments, discounted parking passes and priority access to purchasing tickets to the two regular season games inside Walsh Gymnasium.
The Pirates' first home game of the BIG EAST season comes on Wednesday, Dec. 23 when they host the two-time reigning BIG EAST champions St. John's. Following a weeklong break for Christmas, the Pirates travel to Chicago on Wednesday, Dec. 30 to face DePaul.
Seton Hall stays on the road to open 2027, heading to Cincinnati to take on Xavier (Saturday, Jan. 2). The team then returns to New Jersey for back-to-back home games against Creighton (Wednesday, Jan. 6) and UConn (Saturday, Jan. 9). The matchup with the Huskies, last year's national runner-up, is the first of five weekend home games in BIG EAST play for the Pirates. The others include Georgetown (Friday, Jan. 15), DePaul (Sunday, Feb. 7), Providence (Saturday, Feb. 20) and Xavier (Sunday, Feb. 28).
January sees The Hall face some high-profile road tests. The Pirates will head to Villanova to face the Wildcats on Tuesday, Jan. 12 in former-Pirate head coach Kevin Willard's second season at the helm. On Saturday, Jan. 23, Seton Hall heads into Madison Square Garden for its second matchup with St. John's. On Saturday, Jan. 30, the Pirates head to Providence to face the Friars looking to make it four wins in their last five trips to the Ocean State.
The month of February begins with a stretch of three consecutive home games at Prudential Center. Butler comes to town on Wednesday, Feb. 3 followed by a matchup with DePaul on Sunday, Feb. 7. The stretch concludes with a showdown with Villanova on Wednesday, Feb. 10. The regular season then closes with the Pirates on the road for four of their final six games, with trips to Creighton (Sunday, Feb. 14), UConn (Wednesday, Feb. 17), Marquette (Tuesday, Feb. 23) and Butler (Saturday, Mar. 6) on the docket.
