Pirates Fans,
The Seton Hall men's basketball season starts Monday night at Prudential Center, and Seton Hall is excited to welcome fans back to the Rock! Here's what fans need to know about what's new and what's returning at home games this season!
Be in Your Seats Early!
• Our new Seton Hall Basketball "Culture" video will debut just before the team runs out for the final time, which will occur approximately with seven minutes left on the pregame clock.
• New this year is the "Drawing of the Sword!" After the visiting starting lineup, our very own Pirate will introduce our new feature in which a VIP will draw a sword and salute the crowd, which will then initiate the Seton Hall men's basketball intro video!
New Year, New Gear
• The Seton Hall Bookstore is excited to debut some new items at their pop-up shop on the concourse behind Section 19. Check out new apparel from Under Armour, Champion, Gear, Carhartt, Cameron J, Branded Bills and RSVLTS!
New Food & Beverage Options at Prudential Center!
There are exciting new options at The Rock for fans at Seton Hall games!Â
• Enjoy the iconic Rutt's Hut deep-fried hot dogs, known as the Ripper, behind Section 16! The Ripper can come solo, with cheese or with homemade chili!
• Have a beef & lamb gyro behind Section 1 at Downtown Diner!
• Whether you call it Taylor Ham or Pork Roll, head to Section 12 at Smash by LaFrieda, where it'll be served on top of a double smash burger with a fried egg, American cheese, salt, pepper and ketchup!Â
• Freshly squeezed lemonade at the Rice Krispies cart behind section 2!
• Plus, try the new "A Pirates Paradise" featured cocktail, crafted for Seton Hall games! "Pirates Paradise" is a can of Superlyte vodka with a splash of Starry soda.
There's a Full Range of Options for Food & Beverage!
In addition to the new items, there are so many options for all tastebuds!
• Pirates Gold beer, from Jersey Girl Brewing, the official craft beer of Seton Hall Athletics, is back and will be sold throughout the arena and will be served in the Country Club Services Courtside Club!
• The Hyundai Club (section 8) and Club Lounge East (section 19) serve up classic gameday fare such as The Rock Smash Burger, chicken fingers & fries and more!
• The Downtown Diner (section 1) has the New Jersey classic disco fries in addition to the aforementioned Gyro plus the Taylor Ham/Pork Roll Egg & Cheese Sandwich!
• The Jersey Tomato (sections 4 & 16) offers up classic cheese and pepperoni slices as well as garlic knots!
• For the sweet tooth, Mrs. Fields (section 16 & portables) has cookies, cookie dough, Auntie Anne's pretzels, ice cream and much more!
Stay Engaged with Entertainment!
• Back for another season are public address announcer Tim McLoone and on-court host Jayden Becker and spinning the tunes up in section 2 is DJ Wallah!
• Returning during our media timeouts are the McLoone's T-Shirt Toss, Columbia Bank Skeeball, The MC Hotel Mattress Mayhem and the BGR shooting challenge!
• Plus, Flagman will once again run during the final media timeout of the night!
