CORAL SPRINGS, FLA. – Five members of the Seton Hall women's golf team were named an All-American Scholar by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) today. Among those honored include: Marta Aguilar (Casares Malaga, Spain), Anne-Sofie Ekman (Copenhagen, Denmark), Renee Rane (New Delhi, India), Ana Sarrias Pro (Cadiz, Spain) and Kasumi Tran (Swansea, Wales).
A total of 1,499 women's collegiate golfers were recognized across Divisions I, II and III for 2024-25. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA to qualify is 3.50. The candidate must have also played in 50% of the school's regularly-scheduled competitive rounds during the year.
Sarrias Pro, who graduated in May, is receiving the prestigious academic honor for the fourth time.Â
