THE GAME
Seton Hall will begin play at the 2025 BIG EAST Tournament, presented by Jeep, on Saturday, March 8 when it faces 11-seeded Xavier in the quarterfinals. Tip time is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. ET.

MEDIA
The game will be televised nationally on FS2 with the legendary duo of John Fanta and Kim Adams on the call. As usual, the game will also be available over the airwaves at 89.5 FM WSOU or wsou.net. CJ Weipz and Jack Pine will describe the action on the radio. Live stats will also be available.

LAST GAME
The Seton Hall women's basketball team needed to rally from a 13-point deficit, but outlasted Xavier, 59-57, on Sunday to clinch the No. 3 seed in the upcoming BIG EAST Tournament.

The Pirates scored just 18 first-half points, but came out of the locker room with a 10-1 run and never trailed again.

Kaydan Lawson (Cleveland, Ohio) had 14 points with a team-high seven rebounds and four assists. Sophomore Savannah Catalon (Mansfield, Texas) also had 14 points to go with five assists and a team-high seven steals.

SCOUTING XAVIER
Xavier has earned the No. 11 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament after finishing with a final record of 6-23 overall and a 1-17 mark in conference play.

Xavier had lost 11 straight games including its 59-57 setback to the Pirates on Sunday. Meri Kanerva leads the team with 10.7 points per game. Xavier earned a trip to the quarterfinals with a 80-73 upset over No. 6 DePaul in the first round on Friday.

UP NEXT
With a victory, Seton Hall will return to action on Sunday, March 9 when it advances to the semifinals at the BIG EAST Tournament, presented by Jeep at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Pirates would play either No. 2 Creighton or No. 10 Georgetown. The contest will be televised nationally on FOX.
