
Powell, Pronk and Naber Shine in Loss to Drexel

PHILADELPHIA, PA. – In the final dual meet of the fall, Seton Hall women's swimming and diving fell to Drexel, 175-68, inside the Daskalakis Athletic Center.
Diving
On the boards, it was a breakout day for freshman Daphne Powell. Powell collected second-place finishes on both the one and three-meter boards, logging scores of 205.28 and 216.00, respectively.
Two other Pirates joined her on the podium. Senior Amy Kugelman joined Powell on the three-meter podium in third place with a score of 212.03. On the one-meter podium, Sarah Behrman secured third place with a score of 193.43.
Swimming
In a down meet for the Pirates, the team still put up plenty of podium performances. The most notable performance today came from Lindsay Naber. The freshman secured overall victory in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.94, in addition to her second-place finish in the 200 back with a 2:08.51.
Another standout from today was Hannah Pronk. The German secured second place in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:11.42, as well as points-paying finishes in the 100 butterfly (1:00.75) and 200 IM (2:15.69).
Among other results, Zeynep Aysoy found herself on the 500 freestyle podium with a time of 5:17.80. In addition to Aysoy, Naima Hazell earned a podium finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.28.
What's Next
The Pirates will look to close out the first half of their season at the Bucknell Fall Invitational from Nov. 21-23. Prelims will begin at 10 a.m. each day, while finals will begin at 6 p.m.
