South Orange, N.J. -Â Seton Hall Athletics held its first Student-Athlete Networking Night on Feb. 24, bringing together current student-athletes together with professionals across a wide variety of fields for an evening of career exploration and networking. The event took place in Prudential Center prior to the men's basketball game vs. Butler.
Â
Over 40 student-athletes and 20 Seton Hall alumni, in areas such as finance, marketing, media and healthcare, attended the event.
The Student-Athlete Networking Night is a new initiative, but one of many that Seton Hall Athletics and the H.A.L.L. Program (Helping Athletes Learn to Lead) conduct to provide thoughtful and intentional opportunities for student-athletes to grow in the professional space and prepare them for life after college and athletics. One such initiative is the signature Pat and Mary Ann Pfaff Murray Leadership Forum, which annually brings in industry leaders to talk career path.
Alumni and fans who might be interested in participating and networking with current Seton Hall student-athletes for a future Student-Athlete Networking Night can fill out an interest form to then be contacted by the H.A.L.L. Program.
