South Orange, N.J. -Â Seton Hall Athletics has created a Student-Athlete Networking Night to bring current student-athletes together with professionals across a wide variety of fields for an evening of career exploration and networking. This inaugural event takes place on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Prudential Center prior to the men's basketball game vs. Butler.
Â
The first Student-Athlete Networking Night was open to the first 40 student-athletes who signed up, and they will be introduced to 15 Seton Hall alumni and other professionals who work in industry areas such as finance, marketing, media and healthcare.Â
Â
The Student-Athlete Networking Night is a new initiative, but one of many that Seton Hall Athletics and the H.A.L.L. Program (Helping Athletes Learn to Lead) conduct to provide thoughtful and intentional opportunities for student-athletes to grow in the professional space and prepare them for life after college and athletics. One such initiative is the signature Pat and Mary Ann Pfaff Murray Leadership Forum, which annually brings in industry leaders to talk career path.
Â
Alumni and fans who might be interested in participating and networking with current Seton Hall student-athletes for a future Student-Athlete Networking Night can fill out an interest form to then be contacted by the H.A.L.L. Program.
