Omaha, Neb. -Â Senior Sandro Mamukelashvili (Tbilisi, Georgia) scored 14 points, but the Seton Hall men's basketball team was unable to get things going at No. 7 Creighton, falling to the Bluejays, 89-53, Wednesday night at CHI Health Center Omaha.
Â
Creighton shot 59.6 percent for the game (34-for-57) and made 13 three-pointers on the night.
Â
The loss snaps Seton Hall's three-game winning streak, but the Pirates remain in the top third of the BIG EAST Conference with their 5-2 record.
Â
Turning Point
Creighton made its first seven shots of the night, three of them triples, to build an early 17-4 lead over the Pirates, who just didn't get anything going on either of the court. Seton Hall was only able to cut the deficit to seven while the game was still in its infancy.
