
Pirates Top Friars in Day Two at Berkeley

New Providence, N.J. - The Pirates completed the two day Berkeley Aquatics Tri-Meet beating BIG EAST rival Providence 229-114 while falling to Georgetown 231.5-119.5.
Picking up two more individual wins on Day Two for the pirates was freshman Sierra Cripps (Seymour, Conn.). Cripps paced the pool in both the 100 and 200 fly finishing with times of 57.32 and 2:05.87, respectively.
Also picking up an individual victory for The Hall was Marianne Molloy (Toms River, N.J.) in the 200 back. Molloy touched the wall first in a time of 2:06.49.
In the 200 breaststroke, Lexi Kolodgie (Baltimore, Md.) earned a first place finish when she completed the event in a time of 2:24.98.
Senior Elizabeth Sargent (Trumbull, Conn.) helped lead the way for the Pirates on Saturday afternoon. Sargent took second in the 400 IM, completing the swim in a time of 4:29.44.
This was the final tune-up for the Pirates before they go on to compete in the BIG EAST Championship on Long Island, N.Y. at the Nassau Aquatic Center from Feb. 26-29.
