Nassau, Bahamas - Senior All-America candidate Myles Powell (Trenton, N.J.) lit up Imperial Arena with 32 points, second-most in Battle 4 Atlantis single-game history, but No. 11 Oregon Ducks ended the game on a 14-2 run to steal a win from the No. 13 Seton Hall men's basketball team, 71-69, Wednesday night in the tournament quarterfinals.

Seton Hall, which had led Oregon by as many as 19 points, will now face Southern Mississippi in the tournament consolation bracket Thursday at 9 p.m., on ESPN2 and AM970 The Answer.

Powell also tied the Battle 4 Atlantis single-game record for most threes made with seven.

Turning Point
Seton Hall had led the game by as many as 19 points as Powell came out of halftime on fire with four three-pointers, the last putting the Pirates on top 49-30.

Oregon chipped away at the lead, but the Pirates were still up double digits, 67-57, on Powell's pair of free throws at 6:30. The Ducks then went on the game-ending 14-2 run, six of the 14 points coming on free throws as Oregon had 28 free throw attempts to The Hall's nine.

Payton Pritchard tied the game with two free throws at 1:09, the Pirates missed a three on the ensuing possession, and then a Pritchard missed three was cleaned up by Shakur Juiston, who put the second-chance layup in with 13 seconds to go. Seton Hall missed the game-tying shot and the halfcourt heave at the end.

Inside the Numbers

Seton Hall shot 40.7 percent for the game (24-for-59), 51.7 percent from three (14-for-27) and 77.8 percent from the free throw line (7-for-9).
Oregon finished 47.2 percent from the field (25-for-53), 33.3 percent from long distance (5-for-15) and 57.1 percent from the charity stripe (16-for-28).
The Hall was out-rebounded, 39-28, and Oregon used 15 offensive rebounds to generate 17 second chance points.
The Pirates had 20 points off Oregon's 13 turnovers.
The Hall blocked eight shots in the game.
Powell scored 32 points, 22 coming in the second half, on 11-of-25 shooting. He was 7-for-15 from three, tying his career high for most threes made in a game. His 32 points also are second-most in Battle 4 Atlantis history with the tournament now in its ninth season.
Juniors Myles Cale (Middletown, Del.) and Sandro Mamukelashvili (Tbilisi, Georgia) were the team's other double-figure scorers, each putting in 10 points.

News & Notes

This was only the second-ever meeting between the two teams. Seton Hall had defeated Oregon in the 2000 NCAA Tournament first round.
Powell has now entered Seton Hall's all-time top 10 in scoring, surpassing Walter Dukes (1950-53). Powell now has 1,808 points.
This was the 42nd all-time game that a ranked Seton Hall team has faced another ranked team. The Pirates are now 20-22 in those games. They're also now 159-55 all-time when ranked by the Associated Press and 12-3 when specifically ranked No. 13.
The Pirates suffered only their 12th loss when leading by seven or more points at any juncture of the game since the start of the 2015-16 season. They're now 86-12 in that situation (.878).
