
Pirates Host Army in Final Non-Conference Match

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – The Seton Hall men's soccer team will round out their non-conference schedule on Tuesday, Oct. 28 when they host Army at Owen T. Carroll Field. Kick-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

PIRATES DRAW WITH NO. 4 St. JOHN'S
Freshman Eden O'Leary (Tel Aviv, Israel) evened the score for the Pirates in the 75th minute of a hard-fought battle with No. 4 St John's. After falling behind early in the second half, the Pirates were able to tie things up with O'Leary's second goal of the season. The Hall was able to hold the Red Storm's offense scoreless for the final 61 minutes of the match, highlighted by an outstanding, point-blank save from keeper Andreas Nota (Rome, Italy) in extra time to keep it knotted at 1.
SCOUTING ARMY
Seton Hall and Army will meet for the 28th time in history on Tuesday with the Black Knights owning a 23-3-2 all-time series lead. Last season, The Hall pulled out a dramatic victory in overtime, 2-1, over Army. CJ Tibbling (Jarna, Sweden) tallied two goals as the Pirates went on to pick up the road victory in their season opener. Tibbling got the scoring started with an early PK Goal before Army tied things up late to send the game into overtime. Tibbling then scored in the 105th minute to earn the Pirates the win.
The Black Knights enter Tuesday's contest with a 3-6-4 overall record and a 1-3-3 mark in Patriot League play. They are coming off a 0-0 ties against Bucknell on Saturday.
