Seton Hall will host BIG EAST Conference opponent Georgetown at Walsh Gym on Wednesday, Oct. 4. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. The match will be broadcasted by the Pirate Sports Network.

LAST WEEKEND
The Pirates returned home last weekend and split a pair of BIG EAST Conference matches at Walsh Gym. On Friday, The Hall put forth a strong effort, but fell in three sets against No. 14 Creighton. Dominique Mason (Chicago, Ill.) notched a double-double with a team-high 10 kills and a career-high 13 digs. Junior Sophia Coffey (Sierra Madre, Calif.) narrowly missed a double-double with 22 assists and eight digs. On Saturday, Seton Hall bounced back with a straight sets victory over Providence. The win was the 100^th in the coaching career of head coach Allison Yaeger. Mason and Maggie Cvelbar (Euclid, Ohio) registered double-doubles.

SCOUTING GEORGETOWN
Seton Hall and Georgetown will meet for the 38^th time in history on Wednesday. The Hoyas have won 22 of the prior 37 meetings, but The Hall has fared much better in recent years. The Pirates have won six of the last seven meetings, including a home-and-home sweep of Georgetown in 2016.

Last season, Seton Hall swept the Hoyas in Washington, D.C. on September 27. Haylee Gasser (Mission Viejo, Calif.) had 10 kills and only one attack error, while Coffey had 22 assists and five digs. Over a month later, the Pirates downed Georgetown in Walsh Gym in four sets. Mason erupted for a match-high 22 kills, with only three attack errors, while Abby Thelen (Ft. Mitchell, Ky.) added 11 kills. Coffey had 48 assists.

Georgetown enters Wednesday's match with a record of 7-9 overall and 1-3 in BIG EAST Conference play. The Hoyas are coming off a weekend split of a pair of matches at home. They defeated Butler in five sets on Friday, but fell to Xavier in four sets on Saturday. The prior weekend, they lost to Creighton in four sets and Providence in five sets.
