MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Seton Hall women's soccer team (4-4-1, 0-1-0 BIG EAST) hits the road for the first time in league play on Thursday night when it visits Marquette (4-5-2, 0-1-0) for a conference tilt. Kick-off from MU's Valley Fields is set for 8 p.m. (ET) and will broadcast in the Milwaukee region on TimeWarner Sports Wisconsin.
Both the Pirates and Golden Eagles are coming off tough losses in their respective conference openers. The Hall dropped a 1-0 decision at home to St. John's on Saturday, felled by a 68th minute penalty kick. Marquette was done in by a double overtime golden goal, going down by a score of 3-2 at Creighton. Last season the Pirates defeated MU, 1-0, in South Orange by capitalizing on a late own goal to back a six-save shutout from Illissa Blackshear (West Orange, N.J.).
