
S&D Named Scholar All-Americans

SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - The Seton Hall University men's and women's swimming & diving programs were both named College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams for the Fall 2012 semester.
In order to qualify for CSCAA Scholar All-America team honors a program must hold a minimum team grade point average of 3.0. Seton Hall has received the award in every year since 2001.
With a collective 3.06 cumulative grade point average the SHU men's swimming and diving team was among the six current BIG EAST programs to earn the distinction and the Pirates' GPA stands as the 40th highest in Division I.
The Seton Hall women's swimming & diving team held a 3.45 GPA last semester, ranking in the top-20 of all Division I institutions and second in the conference. A total of nine BIG EAST women's swimming & diving programs qualified as Scholar All-America teams.
