William Belfer

Bill Belfer was the winner and record holder of the Metropolitan Championship discus crown from 1964–67, adding the shot put title in 1966. He also won the IC4A Championship with record throws in 1966–67. He won the state crown in the discus for three straight years and added the shot put crown in his junior and senior seasons. In 1965, he placed second in the World Maccabiah Games in Israel. At the time of his induction, he held Seton Hall records of 176 feet in discus and 54 feet, 2 inches in shot put.
