Induction:
1978

While patrolling the outfield for Seton Hall, Robert Knoth hit .485 in 1948 and finished with a career batting average of .403. He had come to Seton Hall after serving in the military. After graduation, he went on to play with the Equitable Life baseball team that won the National Amateur Baseball Championship in 1949–51 and the National Baseball Congress World Amateur Championship in 1952.
