Richard E. Marks

At the time of his induction, Richard Marks held the Seton Hall school records of single-season (7) and career (12) triples and had the third-highest batting average (.377). He had 52 RBI in 58 varsity games and led the Pirates to Metropolitan Conference Championships in 1958–59. He was also named the team MVP in 1958, and then moved on to play on the soccer team for three years. Selected to the All-Metropolitan and All-East teams in 1958-59, he played professionally in the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies organizations.
