Peter Matischak

Peter Matischak is the most prolific scorer in Seton Hall history, scoring 59 goals and distributing 34 assists for a total of 152 points. In 1986, he established single-season records with 23 goals and 57 points en route to being named BIG EAST Player of the Year. A leader of a program during arguably its most successful era, he guided the Pirates to three consecutive BIG EAST Tournament championships and NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the NCAA quarterfinals. Proving also a force in the classroom, he was named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star in 1987.
