Gary G. Cavallo

Co-captain of the Seton Hall basketball team in his senior year, Gary Cavallo averaged close to 14 points per game and wound up with a career total of 820 points and 504 rebounds. As a member of the baseball team, he had a tremendous three-year ERA of 2.31 and as a senior, he hit .393, including nine doubles. He was a member of Seton Hall’s College World Series in 1971, was selected to the U.S. Pan-American baseball team, and won the Hurricane Basketball Tournament. An All-Metropolitan selection for two years, Cavallo was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers and pitched four seasons in the minor leagues.
