NEW YORK, N.Y. – Sophomore midfielder Til Kauschke (Hamburg, Germany) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for his two goal, one assist week during the last week of play, the conference announced Monday.
Seton Hall will play next on Friday, Sept. 15, when the Pirates play host to the Providence Friars in the opening match of BIG EAST play. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ with the opening kick set for 6:56 p.m. EST.
Kauschke opened the week against Sacred Heart with a beautiful assist on Aidan Tisony's goal in The Hall's 2-2 draw against the Pioneers. The German built upon that performance when the team played host to the FDU Knights, scoring two goals in five minutes, including a curving ball into the upper 90 for his second goal, in a 3-0 Seton Hall win. With the goal, Kauschke recorded his first career brace and tied his goal tally from last season. As cold as ice🥶#HALLin🔵⚪️ pic.twitter.com/kPkbtBDTqK
