LIBURN, GA. – Seton Hall women's basketball head coach Anthony Bozzella has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Board of Directors.
Â
Bozzella replaces former Arkansas head coach Mike Neighbors for the remaining two years of his term.
Â
"It's a privilege and honor to be selected to the WBCA board of directors and work under the fantastic leadership of executive director Danielle Donehew and WBCA president Jose Fernandez," Bozzella said. "I'm excited to support NCAA women's basketball in any way I can."
Â
Bozzella has collected 533 victories in his remarkable 32-year career, which includes an impressive 230-152 mark in 12 years at the helm of the Seton Hall women's basketball program. Last season, Bozzella's Pirates qualified for the postseason for a fourth straight year, and won postseason games in both the BIG EAST Tournament and WBIT. The Hall won 23 games, which is the seventh-most in program history in a single-season, went 13-5 in BIG EAST play and earned the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament, despite being picked to finish seventh in the preseason.
