Hill Homers Way Onto BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK, N.Y. – After a power-packed end to non-conference play, Taylor Hill earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.
Last Wednesday's rivalry meeting between the Pirates and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights looked like it was getting away from the Pirates in the early stages. Hill cut the Pirates' deficit to three, 6-3, on a fielder's choice, but The Hall still entered the sixth inning down four. However, in a massive rally by the Pirates, Hill laced an RBI double into right field to tie the game at 7-7. With an 11-7 lead in the seventh inning, the senior outfielder capped off the Pirates' madcap comeback win with a grand slam to put the game out of reach, 15-8.

The Pirates return to action on Friday, April 25th, when the Butler Bulldogs travel to South Orange to begin The Hall' final home series of 2025. First pitch is slated for 2 p.m. and the game will be streamed on FloSports.
During The Hall's clash in Philadelphia against the Drexel Dragons, Hill gave the Pirates an early 2-1 lead in the second inning. After that opening home run, Hill imposed her will on the Dragons, going a perfect four-for-four with two runs and two RBI.She got JUST enough of that one 🤏🏴☠️
