- The Seton Hall men's basketball team returns to action on Saturday when the Pirates head to the nation's capital to face Georgetown at 12 p.m. on Saturday.
- At 121 meetings, Georgetown is The Hall's second-most frequently opponent.
- Both programs were charter members of the BIG EAST when the conference was formed in 1979.
- The Pirates swept the season series last season but the Hoyas went ahead in the all-time series at 61-60 after their 61-60 win at Prudential Center on 12/22/24.
- The Hall has won seven of the last eight contests against Georgetown.
- In a matchup between two former MAAC head coaches, Shaheen Holloway is 3-3 all-time against Georgetown head coach Ed Cooley with Holloway winning three of the last four meetings.

- Isaiah Coleman has come into his own in conference play where he ranks sixth in scoring averaging 18.5 points per game against BIG EAST foes.
- Coleman returned to form in the loss at DePaul where he scored a game-high 18 points with four rebounds and three steals.
- Coleman also ranks 14th in the conference averaging 5.8 rebounds per game and eighth shooting 78 percent from the line against BIG EAST foes.
- Coleman is tied for fifth in the BIG EAST with seven 20-point games this season.
- Coleman is one of only four Pirates since 1988 to score at least 15 points in the first five BIG EAST games of the season joining Mark Bryant (1987-88), Terry Dehere (1992-93) and Myles Powell (2019-20).
- Coleman has scored in double-figures in 12 of his last 15 games and five of those outputs were 20-point performances against BIG EAST teams.
- Prince Aligbe is averaging 10.4 points per game and shooting 56 percent from the floor in conference games.
- Aligbe tied his career highs with 19 points in 33 minutes in the loss against Providence on 1/28.
