The star of the meet on the women's side against Wagner was Natalie Heim. Heim claimed her first of two victories on the day in the 200 Freestyle. He wire-to-wire victory over teammate Allie Waggoner landed her a time of 1:52.43. Later on in the meet, she would claim her second victory of the day in the 500 Freestyle, beating out Mandy Zajdzinski and earning a time of 5:04.06 in the process. Ultimately, Waggoner came out on top with a time of 5:00.47 to Heim's 5:00.81. Heim also claimed victory in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 1:52.20.
Heim was not the only Pirate to claim victory, however. Lea Moeller earned her overall victory in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 53.61, just over half a second clear of teammate Carys Graville. Yet, despite those being the only wins for the Pirates, excluding relays, the Pirates won this meet off of strong podium swims.
Alongside her second place in the 500 Freestyle, Waggoner finished second in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 59.71. Despite not winning the 200 IM, Mia Sunseri earned second place in the event with a time of 2:12.57. Naima Hazell earned second place in the 50 Free with a time of 24.26, missing out on first by 0.06 seconds. The final key second-place finish came from Moeller, who finished on the second step in the 100 Breaststroke with a time of 1:07.05.
The Pirates closed the meet with the 200 Freestyle Relay with a dominant win, securing the team overall victory. The team of Hazell, Moeller, Zajdzinski and Heim capped off the meet by touching the wall with a time of 1:38.35
