Smith Nets Top Team Time at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals

Bethlehem, Pa. – The Seton Hall women's cross country team wrapped up its 2023 campaign on Friday afternoon at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals hosted by Lehigh University.
The Pirates were paced by Julia Smith (Pittsgrove, N.J.), who posted a strong time of 21:46.3 on the 6k course to be the first on the squad to cross the finish line. Behind her was Paige Quigley (Sacramento, Calif.), who capped off her freshman season with a time of 22:09.2. Honey Strosnider (Fairfield, Pa.) was next to complete the race, finishing with a time of 22:39.5.
Kayla Carrino (Lyndhurst, N.J.) was the fourth Seton Hall finisher, completing the course in a time of 23:25.6. Taj Lanier (Lincoln University, Pa.) would round out the Pirates' top five with a time of 23:47.3. Brianna Peiffer (Missouri City, Texas) and Amelia Carson (Charleston, S.C.) also completed the 6k course for the Pirates.
