
Fahy Leads Way for Pirates at BIG EAST Championships

Attleboro, Mass. – In her first BIG EAST Championships, Caitlin Fahy (Ringwood, N.J.) led all Pirate runners on the 6k course at Highland Park on Saturday morning. The freshman finished the course with a time of 22:57.
Nancy Habib (Clifton, N.J.) was the second Pirate to cross the finish line on the day, recording a time of 23:23. Etta Moen (Kenmore, Wash.) came in third place on the team, crossing the line in a time of 23:30.
Julia Smith (Pittsgrove, N.J.) and Taj Lanier (Lincoln University, Pa.) rounded out the top-five finishers for Seton Hall. Smith recorded a time of 23:38, while Lanier came across the line in 23:52. Madison Rempalski (Grand Rapids, Mich.) and Abigail Hughes (Staten Island, N.Y.) also competed on the day for the Pirates.
The Pirates will have some time to gear up for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals set to take place on Friday, Nov. 11.
